Description
Only place the tow rope on the designated towing eyes of the cars.
Never tow a car where the brakes, steering and/or lighting may not work.
On cars with power steering and power brakes, more pedal and steering force must be applied when the engine is not running.
Switch on the hazard lights and place a warning triangle behind the rear window of the rear car.
Leave the ignition on for the car to be towed away (because of the steering wheel lock).
Drive away slowly and carefully, indicate a turn on time.
The rear car must ensure that the cable remains taut during towing.
Keep 30 km/h as the maximum speed.
